Polyamide comprises of two types based on its production procedure.
 
Format : Sheet, Rod
 
- Extrude Nylon : produced by extrusion process, sometimes called Nylon6 or PA6E or Superlene
- Cast Nylon (ivory or black), MC Nylon (blue): produced by casting process
      - Good mechanical strength and good electrical properties
      - Good wear resistance
      - Good sliding properties
      - Good electric insulation
      - Cast Nylon has higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than Extrude Nylon

Application : bush, gasket valve, wheel, pulley, high loaded toothed gear
